Youtuber Mungai Eve has opened up on the secrets of a lasting relationship between her and her boyfriend, Director Trevor.
During a recent interview, the content creator disclosed that they frequently encounter misunderstandings. However, they emphasized that they have developed a valuable approach to handling their differences, choosing to address them privately and avoid airing their conflicts to the public.
"Each and every relationship has its own challenges and I would not say that ours is perfect. We do have our own disagreements, fights but I don't think we should take them online because we met us I and Trevor as individuals even before the online world," she explained.

As a cohesive unit, the couple has dedicated themselves to nurturing the Mungai Eve YouTube channel, which has now surpassed the remarkable milestone of 600,000 subscribers. Their collaborative efforts and shared vision have propelled them into the limelight, capturing the attention of Kenyan social media platforms for the past couple of years. Their swift ascent to fame has solidified their position as one of the most renowned and influential YouTubers in the country.
Their relationship has been an inspiration for many, as Eve Mungai and director Trevor's journey began in 2019, when they initially crossed paths in Thika, located in Kiambu County, Kenya. On that particular occasion, they had converged in Thika Town for a photo shoot, with Trevor assuming the role of the photographer. However, both Eve Mungai and Trevor were entangled in relationships that were crumbling at the time, as shared by Mungai herself. Consequently, they made the decision to depart from the situation. Before parting ways, Eve Mungai took the initiative to request Trevor's phone number, intending to retrieve her images at a later time.
However, Eve has still not received the images two years later. Trevor, though, admitted to Eve that he planned to date her along the way. Eve scolded him at first. But after some time, she came to the conclusion that he was serious and eager to date her, so she made the decision to give him a chance.
However, given that they are now well-known, their relationship hasn't been without its share of ups and downs. The two have endured continual public criticism but have been able to handle all of the storms that come with having in-laws on social media.
For instance, Mungai and Trevor promoted Bonfire Adventures a few weeks ago by posting pictures of their vacation online. While some admirers were giddy over the intimate photographs of the couple, others were busy looking at the cute content creator's possessions, both those that they had and those that they did not.
Well, if you've been following Mungai Eve for a while, you probably know that she doesn't put up with criticism from others, and this time, she was prepared with a vicious retort to her bullies.
The content creator and colleague content creator Andrew Kibe have also faced a crossroads. The two could not allow Kibe to get away with criticizing Eve and Trevor's love and foretelling its demise.
Eve quickly began criticizing Kibe, claiming that in his advanced age, she could not understand how he had the time to disparage up-and-coming stars in the business.
Eve continued by saying that it was insulting for a divorced man (Kibe) to lecture her on how relationships should function while he is not in any healthy relationships and that he had no right to offer such uninvited advise.
