Controversial politician Karen Nyamu has come out to deny that she has a black eye after her fans were curious about the bruise on her face.
The nominated senator denied claims that she was assaulted or had a black eye, saying that it was just a shadow from her hat. She accused her fans of making up stories.
"ukikosa content unatuletea kile umeskia wamama wa ploti yenu wakisema. This is the same event. Where is the black eye?" she posed the question.
Kenyans were, however, not satisfied with the explanation given by the senator and continued to troll her on social media.

These allegations come barely a week after the senator surprised his two-time baby daddy singer samidoh with an alcoholic drink worth ksh 420000 on Father's Day.
In a video seen by Waza, Nyamu could be seen entering a liquor store –asking for the Most expensive alcohol they have in their store.
"Nimekuja kununulia mbabaz pombe ya father's day. Nataka ile ya dooh mob kabisaa for mbabaz.
The most expensive one kabisaa, nataka kubuiya mbabaz," she told the liquor store attendant. Karen could be heard joking that the 420k bottle of cognac was the equivalent of buying a Toyota Vitz.
She then got almost half a million bottles of Remy Martin's 700ml Louis XIII cognac for her mubabaz. As they casually conversed, the store attendant excitedly showed Karen how to open the liquor box.

Karen then paid for the bottle of cognac, which comes in a regal red box with black on the sides and a golden crown in the middle in full, using her credit card, then proceeded to take a photo of the liquor.
Karen Nyamu and Samidoh share two kids and have seemingly been cruising smoothly with all the cute quality time they've spent together despite all the waves that have rocked their controversial relationship.
