Former singer-turned-food brand influencer David Kimanthi, often known as Holy Dave, has shared a bizarre tale about meeting Churchill Ndambuki, one of Kenya's most illustrious comedians.

According to a Nairobinews story, Dave described how Churchill attempted to make out with one of the rapper's four sisters, something the gospel singer didn't appreciate. That sibling? Joey Muthengi, who is equally famous and attractive.

Churchill's 'ufisi' occurred after the family returned to Kenya from the US.

"When we returned in the 1990s, we immediately moved to Machakos and eventually to Nairobi. Churchill and one of my older sisters attended the same high school at the time, as far as I can recall.

As a result, every time the watchman stopped him on his way to our house, he would want to see me. Churchill would then instruct me to phone my sister. He used to tell me, "You fool, go call me your sister," laughed the 38-year-old.

The 'Imani' singer claimed that he had problems with his other pals trying to hit on his sisters and Churchill when it came to hitting on them.

"I honestly have no idea why. Even more than just myself, it's about guys in general. It seems strange when your friend is making advances toward your sister.

Whenever my buddies tried to seduce my sister, I felt awkward. When he is a close friend of yours, it is even worse. He seems to be seducing you since you are familiar with his style. His positive and negative traits," he said.

Since the end of their fascinating connection, Churchill has married and established a private life with his wife and children.

For his part, Dave is still a single man committed to making food content while keeping his personal life out of the spotlight.
