According to Billboard, Taylor Swift has achieved a historic milestone, solidifying her position as the female artist with the most number one albums of all time. This accomplishment comes after the recent release of "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)." As she proudly poses with her array of awards at the American Music Awards, Taylor Swift's impact and success in the music industry continue to reach new heights.


With the debut of "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" at the top of the Billboard charts, Taylor Swift has attained her 12th number-one album, surpassing Barbra Streisand and claiming the record for the most number-one albums among female artists.


While male performers like Jay-Z and the Beatles have also achieved over a dozen number-one albums, Billboard points out that its album ranking system has evolved over the years to include anthologies.

In addition to her number one success, Taylor Swift has accomplished another remarkable feat. At the age of 33, she has become the first living artist in nearly six decades to have four albums simultaneously placed in the top 10. This outstanding achievement speaks to her enduring popularity and immense impact on the music industry.


They include "Midnights," "Lover" and "Folklore."


Billboard said Swift had also become the first living artist to have 11 albums in the top 200 simultaneously.


Swift's record-breaking feats come as she performs many of her best hits on the fan-frenzied "Eras" tour.


The 106-date stadium concert series kicked off in March and is within striking distance of becoming the first billion-dollar tour.


"Speak Now" was originally released in 2010.


She has also re-recorded "Fearless" and "Red." Swift was contractually permitted to start the process of re-recording her first six albums in November 2020, and she has sworn to do so in order to retain ownership of their rights.


Following the release of her tenth studio album, "Midnights," in October of last year, Swift made history by being the first artist to ever occupy all 10 slots at the same time on the top US song chart.
