Kenyan actress Bridget Shighadi, who split up with her baby's daddy Nick Mutuma, has now acknowledged that she is single.
This was stated by the former Maria actress during a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram. The news of the confirmation broke as rumors of the couple's breakup were circulating.
Shighadi answered "Yes" to the question "Are you single?" posed by an inquisitive fan. Another fan inquired about the timing of the aforementioned breakup as if that weren't enough.
“Single? Wacha Jokes for how long? The fan asked.
Bridget's response of "For a minute bro" indicated that she had previously broken off her relationship with Nick Mutuma.

They also celebrated their daughter's birthday separately, and the two had not been seen together in quite some time.
Nick Mutuma was no where to be seen in July of last year, when Shighadi was celebrating her 31st birthday.
Mutuma remained silent, not even wishing the mother of his daughter a happy birthday as he had done when Shighadi turned 30 the previous year.
Ms. Shighadi revealed Nick was the first person she knew after high school in a prior interview with Massawe Japanni in 2021, although their relationship was sporadic at first.
She stated that they have been together for three years (at that specific time) and have a daughter named Dua. They shared a home as well.
"I have known Nick for a long time. After high school, he was the first person I knew. We've been dating for three years now, but our relationship has been on and off.
