After two years, radio and television host Aziza Hashim, alias Azeezah, has formally left Nation Media Group-owned channel NTV.
On August 12, 2023, Azeezah hosted her final program on Teen Republik, thanking her followers and supporters for their support.
“I don’t know how even to break this because I woke up today and cried severally, and to ever watch right now Today is my last show on Teen Republik.
We have been doing our best for the last two years, and it’s been a fantastic learning journey. It’s been a whole 360- my wig fell off the first show, and on my last show, the wig fell off as well,” Azeezah said in part.

The gifted TV host also thanked NTV Management for allowing her to host Teen Republik.
“I would like to say that I appreciate the support that I got, I have grown a lot by being at Nation Media Group. My bosses have taken a lot of chances on me. They have trusted me with a lot of things that would not be given to someone of my age and I don’t take it for granted,” she added.
She said she would take a break from television for a bit before returning with something more substantial.
The journey is going up from here…but a small break from TV,” Azeezah concluded her parting shot.
Joseph Maina and Tracy Wanjiru, who had departed the show, were replaced by Aziza Hashim and NTV in November 2021.
