Ken Wa Kuraya, a well-known face on Inooro TV, has been dismissed from the vernacular channel under the Royal Media Services (RMS) ownership.
Wa Kuraya, who held the roles of news anchor and host, notably presented the live country music show "Thuthira Ngoro." He also hosted the program "Kuraya Na Kenya" focusing on stories of Kenyan expatriates living abroad.

The skilled media personality, who is also an actor and a singer of country music, informed his followers on Facebook on Monday night that he had been released of his responsibilities.
"Man Fires, God Hires, Approves and Sustains. Better Days Ahead. Inshallah," Wa Kuraya posted, revealing he has also been removed from staff WhatsApp group.
His fans stormed his page to encourage him to be strong to stay with his held higher despite the setback caused by the TV station in which he has worked for 8 years.
"It shall be well, Grace of God and God's Favour shall speak and break protocols on your behalf Ken wakuraya," posted Widows' rights ambassador Diana Kamande.
"You have some hidden potential that you've been fearing to risk,and you had to go through turbulence to steady you. It's well," Ruth Chege said.
"It is well Ken,, there's a God of second chances......you are one of the reasons why we loved watching news n loved country music, your humour n laughter made one forget the stress we going through.....May God favour you in all your endeavours...we your fans will follow you to your next levels," added Mumbi Kamwenji.
The abrupt departure of Wa Kuraya, a beloved broadcaster among many viewers, will be a serious blow to SK Macharia's RMS, which has had a number of well-liked presenters leave recently.
Willis Raburu, Joan Njaro, Sam Ogina, Francis Gachuri, and other senior staff members have all left Kenya's top radio station.
