Jacque Maribe, a former television journalist, has disclosed her intentions to return to television after a five-year sabbatical.

Due to her role in the murder case of entrepreneur Ms Monica Kimani, Maribe, who was once connected to Citizen Television, was forbidden by the courts from appearing on television.

She was charged with her ex-boyfriend Joseph Irungu, also known as Jowie.

"On September 1, 2022, I decided to limit my work to Instagram stories. Don't you think that should change starting on September 1, 2023? The vacation is over. On Twitter, she wrote, "Loading."

She claims that the production will be comparable to a former program where she conducted interviews with prominent politicians, business leaders, and government officials.

Jacque Maribe has published some of her prior projects on her Instagram account with the caption "New phase will be bigger."

Lady Justice Grace Nzioka, a high court judge, announced that she would rule on the murder case in October.

Ms Maribe, who had just joined Media Max and taken a job as an editor, will then be informed of her future along with her lover, Jowie.

The former television host has defended her reputation by denying involvement in the killing.

In this case, the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) has petitioned a Nairobi Court to convict the pair of killing Ms Kimani.

According to Assistant DPP Gakui Gichuhi, the court should conclude that the prosecution has successfully established the elements of murder by considering the presence of malice aforethought.

Ms Maribe was detained after M. Jowie allegedly used her car to travel to Ms Kimani's house.

The car was returned to her after being hauled to the police station.
