For the Afro-Nationa event in Detroit, US, Diamond Platnumz is now in the country. Burna Boy, Ari Lennox, Latto, Dej Loaf, Skillibeng, and more artists performed at Afro Nation Detroit on the festival's opening day.

After Miami earlier in May of this year, Detroit is the second American city to host the festival. Following family custom, the wealthy singer departed in a private aircraft with his crew, including his brother Dj Romy Jons.

The quintet flaunted their opulent departure for the US while celebrating Platnumz's international musical successes. Since 2022, the Afro Nation festivals have become more well-known, including wins in Portugal, Puerto Rico, and Ghana.

This year's Detroit Festival includes a spectacular line-up.

This particular concert honors the sounds of the African diaspora by featuring artists from various musical genres, including afrobeat, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, and more.

The Douglass Site in Bedrock is where the festival is taking place.

Based on a weighted algorithm that includes official streams on subscription and ad-supported tiers of prominent audio and video music services and download sales from top music stores, the U.S. Afrobeat Songs chart lists the top 50 Afrobeats songs in the nation.
