In an Instagram post a few hours after the interview aired, Nicah denied claims that she was dumped, saying that she is the one who does the dumping, adding that Dr. Ofweneke said that to make himself feel better.

Nicah says that someone should tell her ex-husband not to try her patience or twist the truth about what happened because she has the receipts.

"Someone tell Dr Ofweneke to not dare me!! I have receipts🤣🤣🤣🤣 we both know the truth🤣🤣🤣🤣 sips tea!!! I think my second name should be "an ex one can never forget!" I'm a stamp baby🤪 #Jesusgurl @ogaobinna I think we should have a sit-down!!!!" she posted

In his interview with comedian Obinna, Dr. Ofweneke revealed that he loved Nicah so much that he forgot to love himself.

"I ignored the foundation. Why relationships don’t work out is because we get into relationships with the idea of changing what attracted us to them in the beginning. You get? This is what I like about you, then I want to come in and do a whole interior redecorating. So I want to turn you into what I prefer," he said.

"I loved Nicah so much that I forgot myself, but the day I rediscovered myself is the day I told her mama, it's been a good stretch. Actually, we were holding hands watching Netflix. We were in the house, the kids were there, my brother and sister," he said.

Dr Ofweneke, however, said that nicah was a wonderful woman but not the right woman for him, adding that he had to follow God's voice.

"We weren't the ideal match for one another... God was giggling in my ear the day I left, telling me that this was not the marriage he had in mind for me. She is a wonderful woman, but she is not who I had in mind for you. So you chose aesthetics, whereas I chose the calling," he said.
