Kenyan songbird Nadia Mukami has left her fans in admiration after sharing photos from her time in school at KICD, now known as KIE, where her father was employed.

Nadia disclosed that she was quite the bookworm back then and excelled in subjects like mathematics, Kiswahili, and Chemistry.

Nadia shared that during her time in school, she was a dedicated bookworm and firmly believed in the value of education over wealth. She would spend her holidays in the school's library, which was conveniently located on the campus.

Additionally, she confessed that she had a preference for loose-fitting trousers and had made a personal commitment to refrain from having a boyfriend until she completed her education. Perhaps she saw relationships as a potential distraction from achieving her educational aspirations.

Certainly, a lot has changed since then. Nadia even admitted that she's not entirely sure how she ended up becoming an artist.

Some of her former classmates stepped forward to share how incredibly focused she was during their school days. One of them, Milly Musyoki, revealed that at ABC Academy, Nadia used to deliver motivational talks to fellow students. Nadia playfully responded, "Now it's 'ikamate hiyoo'," referencing a line from one of her viral songs, which means "catch that."

There's currently a significant buzz comparing her throwback photos to her present self, especially since she entered the entertainment industry, started dating Arrow Boy, and welcomed a child together.

When you look at her fashion sense, the way she speaks, and carries herself, it's hard to believe it's the same person. It's clear that she's undergone significant growth.
