Renowned Kenyan singer Nadia Mukami expressed her gratitude for being alive after a harrowing accident that nearly killed her. The charismatic artist behind the hit song 'Maombi' shared the news with her fans in a late-night post on her Instagram stories, recounting the details of the traumatic incident.

As per Nadia Mukami's account, the incident unfolded earlier on Sunday while she was in her car, en route to an undisclosed destination. Coincidentally, an unidentified individual also traveled in the same direction, albeit in a different vehicle.

Tragically, their two vehicles were involved in an accident caused by another car. While the specifics of the incident are still not clear, Nadia Mukami revealed that the other party sustained critical injuries.


In her post, the acclaimed singer also mentioned that the car responsible for the accident was a compact vehicle.

Hence, she expressed gratitude, recognizing that if it had been a larger vehicle, the consequences for her could have been more severe due to the force of the collision.

While recording the video, Nadia Mukami provided an update on her current health condition following the narrow escape. She revealed that she had been promptly taken to the hospital after the daytime accident occurred.

However, Nadia Mukami was later discharged, indicating that her injuries were possibly not as severe. She expressed immense gratitude for being back home with her son Haseeb Kai.

Regarding the other individual involved in the accident, she revealed that he/she was still hospitalized by Sunday night. Nadia also shared that the incident left her deeply traumatized, as it was an experience entirely new to her.

"Today was so traumatising. Accidents are so traumatising, but I thank God that I am alive and I got to go home to my son.

Nadia Mukami also shared another photo showing how the car that she was in was badly damaged after the accident.
