Three Machakos County Referral Hospital officers are set to be arraigned today for stealing public funds from the facility.
The three include a nurse, a nursing assistant, and a cashier at the hospital who have since been fired.
Machakos County Health Executive Daniel Yumbya said the three were arrested after they collected Kes .10,000 from a patient.
Dr Yumbya has since warned county officials sternly against stealing, saying those caught will be punished.
