Rongo sub-county police commander Peter Okiring has expressed concern about children loitering in Rongo town and other trading centers, urging parents to monitor their children's movements.
According to Okiring, loitering children are exposed to a variety of vices, including defilement and teen pregnancy.
He stated that parents should come out to protect their children by limiting their movement during the festivities.
The sub-county police commander stated that they do not want to record any more teenage pregnancies in Migori County due to the parent's failure to assume parental responsibility.
