Former Citizen TV reporter Kimani Mbugua, in a live session, disclosed that he was suffering from depression and thought that he needed medication to help him.
Joining Kimani Mbugua's live session, viewers voiced their concerns and urged those in his vicinity to stop the broadcast and cater to his needs.
“I am depressed. I need medication. They are very expensive,” Kimani conveyed with evident difficulty during the live session.
Earlier Kimani had shared a segment of the video with a caption, “Hazitawai shuka,” as he laughed uncontrollably.
Kimani wandered about, engulfed in a wave of emotions, openly expressing his reflections on life and the difficulties he currently faced.
“Kama umenitumia pesa relax, what is life..” he expressed, seeking understanding from those watching.
“I’m a live reporter, what’s your name,” he asked, his emotions fluctuating. “All of us, we are doing a journey hehehe. Let us go live, all of us.”
Following Kimani Mbugua's earnest appeal for help in September, where he candidly discussed his ongoing struggle with bipolar mood disorder and the obstacles, including the loss of his career, he has now posted a new video. In a subsequent update, Kimani conveyed his appreciation for the support he received, which enabled him to obtain crucial tools for rebuilding his life, such as a phone and a laptop.
However, despite these encouraging developments, his latest live video has sparked renewed apprehensions about his mental health and overall well-being.
