Vanessa Ogema, the woman caught on CCTV insulting hospital staff at Port Victoria Hospital, has turned herself in at the police station.
Ogema arrived at the Busia police station at noon on Sunday, wearing a surgical mask and a thick hoodie over her face, a different picture from how she appeared during the assault.
Ogema and an unnamed male were seen harassing hospital staff in a viral video that went viral on January 3.
The woman was seen throwing files on the floor and slamming a table while yelling at hospital staff.
The incident enraged members of the public, who demanded that the woman be prosecuted.
Davji Atellah, Secretary General of the Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists Dentists Union (KMPDU), was among those who praised the incident and called for legal action.
