A boda boda driver was killed after being hit by a trailer transporting cement on Madogo Road in Garissa County.
The rider became involved in another collision while attempting to navigate the route, which was in terrible condition due to flooding.
The motorcyclist swerved to avoid being hit by another trailer, and the trailer ferrying cement ran him over as he was lying on the ground.
"The driver seemed not to have seen the rider lying on the road, and by the time he realized, it was too late to stop, and he ended up running the man over," said Amina Omar, who observed the collision.
