Dan Angilah has been appointed to serve as the Homa Bay County Water and Sanitation Company(HOMAWASCO) Managing Director.

The company’s board chairperson George Khroda expressed his confidence in Angilah.

The new development was announced in a social media post on the Homa Bay county account.

He will serve for five years.

Angilah holds a bachelor's degree in procurement and logistics, and a master's in supply chain management.

He has previously served in various capacities in the procurement field both in the public and private sectors.

Homawasco was incorporated on June 27, 2007, in accordance with Water Act 2002 later repealed by Water Act 2016.

The new Act (2016) aligned national water management and water services provided with the requirements of the Constitution particularly on the clauses devolving water and sanitation services to the county governments who are consequently the owners of Water Service Providers (WSPs).
