The Energy Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) declared that the Prices of Super-Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene would be lowered.
According to a statement made on Thursday, super petrol prices will fall by Ksh.7.21, diesel by Ksh.5.09, and kerosene by Ksh.4.49.
Following the review, a liter of fuel in Nairobi would cost Ksh.199.15, diesel Ksh.190.38, and kerosene Ksh.188.74.
"The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020," said EPRA in the statement.
