Police officers in Kericho are investigating an incident where a barber died after consuming illicit alcohol.
According to witnesses at the scene, the barber went to a local wine and spirits downtown and drank a lot of alcohol. When he returned to work, he realized that he was too intoxicated to finish his job.
He went to a neighboring business, where he collapsed. Concerned raised the alarm when they saw foam coming from his mouth; efforts to save him were futile.

Good Samaritans took him guy to Kericho Referral Hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival. His body was then sent to the hospital mortuary.
