Justice Grace Nzioka, who recently delivered a death sentence to Joseph Irungu alias Jowie in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani, is among forty-one candidates short-listed for Court of Appeal Judges.
In a notice, the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has also shortlisted former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairperson Issack Hassan.
“The JSC having reviewed the applications for completeness and conformity with the requirements as set out in the advertisement, shortlisted forty one (41) candidates.”
In the notice, the JSC indicated that Justices Alfred Mabeya, David SIfuna, Chaha Mwita, and Hedwig Ong’undi are also on the shortlist.
Interviews will take place at the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) Pension Towers from June 3 to 20.
