The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has selected 41 candidates for Court of Appeal judge posts, including some noteworthy individuals while leaving out a fair number.
Former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has been left out of the race for Court of Appeal judges as his predecessor Issack Hassan makes the cut.
Justices Chacha Mwita, Anthony Mrima, and Lady Justice Grace Nzioka are among the other famous members of the 41-person shortlist.

Others include Priscilla Nyokabi, head of the Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD), lawyer Katwa Kigen, and Justice Nixon Sifuna.
