During a church service, COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli addressed the impending power struggle for leadership in Nairobi County.
Reported by NTV, Atwoli voiced his support for embattled Governor Sakaja, expressing dissatisfaction with those who criticized him.
"I am not happy," Atwoli tells those criticizing Governor Sakaja.
Atwoli proposed that instead of criticizing him, the national government should offer assistance to Sakaja in addressing the leadership challenges associated with managing the capital city.
His remarks came in response to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's commitment to evaluating leadership and governance in Nairobi under Sakaja's administration. This echoed concerns raised by ward representatives and MPs regarding Sakaja's management of critical issues and allegations of financial mismanagement.
