Following a horrific Saturday afternoon road accident involving a 14-seater matatu and a truck near Nakuru Teachers College on the Nakuru - Eldoret highway, three people lost their lives.
Wilberforce Sicharani, the Commander of the Rongai Sub-County Police, verified that two individuals lost their lives immediately, and their remains are currently being kept in the Annex Hospital Funeral Home.
Dr. James Waweru, Medical Superintendent of Nakuru Referral Hospital, reported that another patient passed away while undergoing care there.
Three of the at least 13 patients at the Nakuru Referral Hospital are reportedly unconscious, and there are still injuries to be treated.
