A 34-year-old man has died after being involved in an accident near the Akala pharmacy on the Bondo-Kisumu route.
According to Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo, John Mark Ochieng died when his vehicle, a Toyota Porte, lost control and rolled several times.
"The deceased was on his way from Bondo towards Kisumu general direction. Upon reaching at the scene of the accident, he lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road before rolling severally," Kimaiyo said.
The motorist died on the scene due to terrible deep-cut injuries to his head.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to the Bondo Sub County Hospital mortuary.
"The extensively damaged motor vehicle was towed to Bondo police station," Kimaiyo added.
