Two people have been rescued after a four-storey building in the Gateway Area of Mathare Mathare North collapsed.
According to the Kenya Red Cross Society, the collapsed building was under demolition when the incident occurred.
“Two people were rescued today after being trapped when a four-storey building under demolition collapsed in Mathare North, Gateway area, Nairobi.”
The Kenya Red Cross, Kenya National Disaster Operation Center, and the National Police Service conducted the rescue operation.
