The Head of the Public Service, Felix Koskei, has announced compulsory customer service training for all public servants to transform public service delivery.
Speaking at the Kenya School of Government (KSG) on Friday, he said the transformation will be realized by embedding a culture of accountability and excellence.
“Every institution and ministry must ensure their staff are undertaking this training to ensure the Huduma Kenya standardized service is shared across all public servants,” he said.
Further, he said that the training will improve service delivery and increase productivity in government institutions.
He pointed out that Huduma Centers across the country offer their customers the best services compared to other government entities.

On his part, Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria noted that this partnership will extend the Huduma ‘DNA’ to other public service sectors.
“This collaboration is going to take the Huduma service DNA into the rest of the public service, since it is doing well with standardized customer service. It is time we extend that to the rest of the Government.”
KSG chairperson Charles Nyachae described this training as breaking barriers to enhance public service by revolutionising service delivery.
