Radio Africa Group has appointed Martin Khafafa as an interim Chef executive officer after Patrick Quarcoo retired after 24 years at the helm.
Khafafa served as the company's chief operating officer before his appointment.
Khafafa holds a Master of Business Administration from the United States International University (USIU).
In a statement by the Grup, Quarcoo stepped down to pursue personal interests but will still play a role as a shareholder and assist in shaping policies.
Quarcoo is credited with launching six radio stations, a national newspaper, and digital channels and establishing a presence in Nigeria.

These include Kiss 100, Classic 105, Radio Jambo, X FM, East FM, Smooth FM, and The Star newspaper.

Kiprono Kittony, Chairman of Radio Africa Group, hailed Quarcoo as a dedicated leader who has been instrumental in the company's success in recent years.
