The son of US President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, is suing Fox News for sharing his nude pictures of him in a miniseries that he alleges are "revenge porn,."
The right-wing network aired a miniseries titled "The Trial of Hunter Biden," comprising six episodes released in 2022 on Fox Nation.
The series, a dramatized rendition of a criminal trial, includes a disclaimer that the proceedings were fictitious. It portrays the first son being arrested for bribery—allegations that Donald Trump fans have leveled against Hunter Biden for years, citing his previous business dealings with Ukraine and China.

The claims have never resulted in legal action.
However, the series incorporates real photographs of Biden, "depicting him naked, or exposed intimate part of him, as well as engaged in sex acts," the lawsuit claims.
"Fox published and disseminated these intimate images to its vast audience of millions as part of an entertainment program in order to humiliate, harass, annoy and alarm Mr. Biden and to tarnish his reputation."
Hunter Biden left his laptop at a computer repair shop but has yet to pick it up.
Its contents have circulated ever since, inspiring extensive conspiracy theories and providing humiliating fuel for the political opposition.
"This entirely politically motivated lawsuit is devoid of merit," Fox News said in a statement.
"Mr. Biden did not complain about (it) until sending a letter in late April 2024. The program was removed within days of the letter, in an abundance of caution.
"Consistent with the First Amendment, Fox News has accurately covered the newsworthy events of Mr. Biden's own making, and we look forward to vindicating our rights in court."
In June, a jury convicted Hunter Biden of unlawful handgun possession in a federal trial that highlighted his years of addiction to alcohol, cocaine, and crack cocaine, which can be seen in many of the photographs located on the laptop.
