Princess Diana's surprising prediction about Camilla comes true as Queen earns "widespread approval'

Amid ongoing concerns about the royal family's health this year, the Queen's prominence on the public stage has significantly increased in recent months. There are even suggestions that the late Princess Diana may have predicted this decades ago.

King Charles and Queen Camilla's relationship has endured over five decades, and recent months have highlighted the Queen Consort's invaluable support beside the monarch. In a year marked by Royal health concerns, including the King's own cancer diagnosis, Queen Camilla's presence has grown even more crucial as she skillfully supports her husband to ensure the monarchy remains steadfast.

As her 77th birthday approaches, more people are recognizing Camilla's contributions, with one royal commentator suggesting that this may have been something Princess Diana, Charles' late first wife, predicted over 30 years ago.

Reflecting on the Queen's transformation in recent months, ex-BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond proudly praised Camilla for "rocking" her new role, as she told OK! "I think she might have surprised herself by enjoying hard work as much as she seems to be doing! "

The Queen has adeptly fulfilled her demanding role as a senior royal.

"She is, after all, a woman who has never had to knuckle down to a solid career or the slog of a 9 to 5 job. She has shouldered a sharply increased workload and a massive amount of responsibility in the past few months - and is looking and sounding great on it! "

While stepping into the spotlight to assume numerous duties, especially with senior royals like Kate Middleton and Princess Anne currently inactive, might appear daunting, Camilla has risen to the challenge, partly, Jennie believes, out of devotion to her husband.

Attributing the Queen's dedication to her deep connection with King Charles, Jennie explained: "I think part of it is because she so much wants the man she loves to be proud of her, and to pull her weight in their partnership."

In a surprising twist, the former BBC star then revealed that Diana had once predicted this level of devotion and dedication, as she added:

According to one expert, Princess Diana previously foresaw Camilla's unwavering loyalty. She also emphasized the significance of Camilla gaining the approval of the general public who had once disapproved of her.

"It must be so gratifying to have earned widespread approval - even affection - from a public who once ganged up against her as the 'marriage breaker' and the 'other woman' who made Diana so unhappy," added Jennie.

"I think Diana was absolutely right to tell me that Camilla was 'loyal' and that Charles' love for Camilla was stronger than any marriage he might ever have made."

Reflecting on the Queen's journey since stepping into the royal spotlight, Jennie praised how much the Queen had "gained in confidence" before concluding:

"What a contrast to those early days when she looked and sounded so very nervous if she had to speak in public. Now she is assured, confident and comfortable in her new and very demanding role
