Controversial social media personality Andrew Kibe has challenged President William Ruto to engage with him on X.
Kibe promises to use respectful language but asserts that it will be difficult for Ruto to respond to his questions. Kibe has invited the president to a live session where he intends to expose Ruto's shortcomings.
Kibe accused Ruto of being dishonest and criticized him for choosing to engage with Osama Otero, whom Kibe described as a weak opponent, and for avoiding straightforward questions.
As one of Kenya's leading influencers, Kibe has been vocal in his criticism of President Ruto and has supported the Gen Z movement. His remarks came in response to Ruto's comment in Bomet, where the president claimed that people on Twitter had vanished.

According to the content creator, each channel generating income for him brought in roughly $10,000 per month or 1.5 million Kenyan shillings.
Kibe revealed that he had six channels in an interview with Mungai Eve but that two of them had yet to begin to bring in money when they were abruptly shut down. When he awoke one morning, all six of his channels had vanished without any notice.
Kibe feels that some of his Kenyan blogger friends, envious of his success, conspired to get him reported to YouTube officials and banned even though he came to create his platform.
"They shut down all 6 channels, something bad that someone did. And I think it's you and your colleagues who did it. You joined together and said you would go report me. It's not just one person; I believe there were many people who came together after seeing jealousy for what I was earning from YouTube," Kibe said.
"I was making a lot of money. One channel was giving me at least $10,000 every month. Such a thing doesn't just happen by itself; I believe there are certain people who were jealous and went to report me to YouTube. All six of my channels went down," he added.
Kibe emphasized that those who were jealous of his success were the ones who brought down his channels, not copyright violations.
