Kenyan athletes have once again showcased their exceptional talent at the Olympics, propelling the country to the top position in Africa with a total of 11 medals. Kenya secured four gold medals, two silver medals, and five bronze medals, placing 17th overall among more than 180 nations that competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
This marks an improvement from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, held in 2021, where Kenya ranked 19th with four gold medals, four silver medals, and two bronze medals.
On the global stage, China claimed the top spot with 40 gold medals, 27 silver medals, and 24 bronze medals. The United States, Japan, Australia, and the host nation, France, rounded out the top five performers at the Olympics.
