Molo Law Courts has granted homicide detectives 30 days to continue detaining Ezekiel Mwangi Sakwa as they finalize investigations into killings reported at Olrongai, Nakuru County.
Sakwa was presented before the court, where detectives sought more time to piece together evidence linking the 19-year-old to the killings of four women.
Among those allegedly killed by the suspect were a 4-year-old minor and three women aged 15 to 35 years.
Investigations revealed the suspect targeted and killed his victims in the same manner and in some instances, sexually abused them.
Mwangi was arrested on Monday in what police termed “a significant breakthrough."
