Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua has called out the Kenyan government for its alleged collaboration with "corruption cartels," claiming that they have turned the state into their puppet.
Speaking at the party headquarters in Nairobi, Karua asserted that President William Ruto’s administration has let down its citizens, leaving the nation teetering on the edge of leadership failure.
Karua emphasized that corruption has become a deeply entrenched issue within the government, severely undermining public trust. She accused the state of compromising the Judiciary to shield influential individuals from accountability.
"We must decisively tackle this cancer of corruption," Karua stated. "This requires not only strong legal measures but also a cultural shift—a collective rejection of graft in all its forms."

She raised concerns about the administration’s efforts to undermine justice, mainly through the withdrawal of economic crime cases against the ruling elite and their associates.
Karua also pointed out the increasing prevalence of land grabbing and questioned the government's inaction on these issues despite widespread public outcry.
"The surge in land grabbing cases, affecting both private and public lands, suggests that corruption cartels have a firm grip on the state," she remarked.
