President William Ruto has urged leaders to promote unity and avoid divisive politics to strengthen the nation.

Speaking at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moiben, Uasin Gishu County, Ruto emphasized that leaders are elected to represent and prioritize the well-being of Kenyans.

Ruto also encouraged citizens to continue registering with the Social Health Authority (SHA), assuring that the government, alongside Parliament, is addressing transitional challenges in the shift from the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF).

Meanwhile, Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma affirmed that Azimio remains part of the broad-based government and has no immediate plans to leave.

North Rift legislators, including Kesses MP Julius Ruto and Moiben MP Prof. Phyllis Bartoo, urged the president to help boost maize prices to support local farmers.
