Police have apprehended a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) candidate for assault, threatening to kill, and possessing cannabis on Tuesday in Muhoroni Sub-County.
According to a report filled at the Muhoroni police post, the 19-year-old Stephen Biko Olan'go was arrested at Menara Academy Secondary School following a series of disturbing events involving his fellow candidate.
The trouble began on November 16, 2024, when Olan'go allegedly assaulted a classmate during a confrontation.
Olan'go sustained a forehead injury during the altercation and was treated at Muhoroni Hospital before being discharged.
However, the situation deteriorated on the evening of November 19, when Olan'go allegedly armed himself with a knife and threatened to kill his fellow candidate.

Police officers responded to a distress call from the school around 8:30 p.m. and arrested Olan'go.
A knife was discovered in the suspect's trouser pocket, and an additional inspection of his dormitory revealed a hacksaw frame and a hammer hidden beneath his pillow.
Officers also discovered two grams of cannabis sativa in his possession.
He was taken to the Muhoroni Police Post, where he is being held while investigations continue.
He is expected to face several charges, including assault, threatening to kill, and possessing cannabis sativa.
