Additionally, Hashim admitted to the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Deka Abdinoor, a student at Great Lakes University. He disclosed that he dismembered Deka's body and dumped the parts at Lang’ata Cemetery in Nairobi.

Hashim claimed he killed her because she knew of his involvement in the murders of Warris Daud, Amina Abdi, and Nusayba Abdi.

On Friday, detectives accompanied Hashim to Lang’ata Cemetery on a mission to locate Deka’s missing body parts.

While some human remains were previously found, essential parts, such as sections of the hands and legs, remain missing. Authorities suspect these may have been scavenged by hyenas from the nearby Nairobi National Park.

The motive behind the killings appears to involve a love triangle, with Warris Daud allegedly being targeted due to her relationship with another woman. Police believe Amina and Nusayba were murdered as collateral damage in the same plot.

Investigators have also linked the killings to a more extensive criminal gang, with each member reportedly receiving over Ksh.1 million for their role.

DNA samples have been collected, and Deka’s family awaits confirmation. Meanwhile, detectives continue to hunt for additional suspects involved in these heinous crimes.

Hashim Dagane remains in police custody and is set to appear in court on December 2. He faces multiple murder charges for one of Kenya’s most horrifying cases in recent years.
