A man has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in Kajiado.
Dominic Manua is believed to have committed the offense in February 2022.
Kajiado Law Courts Principal Magistrate Vicky Kachuodho delivered the decision, ruling that the prosecution had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Manua was responsible for the offense.
The Kajiado court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for defiling a 9-year-old girl.

Principal magistrate Vicky Kachuodho ruled that the prosecution had proved their case beyond reasonable doubt and sentenced Dominic Manua to life imprisonment.

"Court further noted that the testimony of the witnesses was truthful, reliable, consistent, and fully corroborated," the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) said in a statement.
The ODPP said Edith Ireri, Gladys Bor, Angela Odhiambo, Winny Bati, Maureen Ooko, and Muviu Kilunda prosecuted the case.
