Nakuru county senator Tabitha Karanja says that the ongoing azimio la Umoja rallies derail the rutos administration from delivering their promises to the people.

Speaking during a citizen tv show, the Nakuru senator said that if president ruto fails to deliver on his promises, he will blame the failure on the mass actions and rallies organized by the opposition.

“We just need to give this government time so that we can deliver. I know because am an employer that If you give somebody an opportunity to give excuses, after two years, President Ruto will say we disturbed him…he will say you called people, rallied them, instead of letting people work,” she said.

“Why don’t you give him time, so that after 5 years, you will ask him…but now, he will have excuses to give us.” she added

the senator says that the kenya kwanza government inherited a country whose economy was on its deathbed and that they have to start from scratch to be able to revamp the economy and deliver their promises to the people.

“You know very well that whether it was Raila or Ruto becoming a president, you can’t fix a country in a day. You will need some time. I hear we inherited empty coffers,” Tabitha added.

Nairobi County Woman Representative Esther Passaris said that kenyans are unsettled by the extremely high cost of living affecting them, adding that had raila odinga of the azimio la Umoja coalition took power. Things would have been different in the country, and the kenyans will not suffer.

“When Baba goes round, he starts to understand the pinpoints...there were a lot of promises made, and when I look at the people, they say, aki tunaomba Baba angeingia because if he was there, we were promised Ksh.6000 a month,” she explained. Adding that a hungry nation is an angry nation
