Vice President Rigathi Gachagua has become a hot subject after making some controversial remarks recently in Kericho. Gachagua compared the nation to a corporation in which only those who supported President William Ruto would benefit from national progress. Opposition leaders, notably Raila Odinga, who has threatened to boycott taxation, criticized this comment.

The President allegedly finds responding to Gachagua's remarks challenging without tearing their relationship apart. Therefore he has chosen to keep quiet in front of the public. To address Gachagua's comments, Ruto has opted to enlist the aid of other figures, such as Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi. Musalia aimed to reassure Kenyans that the government would offer development services to every part of the nation regardless of their political allegiances or voting habits.

Appearing on stage at the Nairobi Water Commission's official opening on Wednesday in Korogocho, Gachagua claimed the statement only related to hiring public employees, not to developments.

He declared that the Kenya Kwanza administration would provide equal services to all Kenyans regardless of party membership.

"We have all agreed that this Kenya is ours after Ruto informed us of this. Both those who supported him and those who did not are Kenyans, and as President, he will continue to work for them."

Because every Kenyan pays taxes, the development will be throughout the entire Republic of Kenya.
