Ciku Muiruri, a media celebrity, is distraught following the abduction of her daughter Erica Gachoka and her companion Shanice Agose on Saturday night.
On Sunday night, the radio star resorted to Facebook to share a terrible story of her daughter Erica and her friend Shanice being taken by a taxi driver.
"May God bless you all. Novena is shown below. But first, I have a special request for every one of you. "My daughter and a friend of hers were abducted by a taxi driver in the early hours of Sunday morning (2 am)," she wrote.
"We know that prayers have the power to move mountains. Put an end to wars. Please join me in praying for my daughter Erica Njeri and her friend Shanice Agose. Also, and this is very important, pray for those who have taken them, that their souls may not be lost."

The devastated mother then asked her followers to join her in requesting God's intervention in the case, attaching a prayer as part of the catholic 'Novena' sequence of prayers she has performed for the past week.
"I'm going to do everything in my power to get her home safely," Ms Muiruri added, "but I know we can't even tie our shoes without God's Grace."
"I have no say in what they do to her, where she is, or whether I will ever see her alive again." Only God can assist her."
The bereaved mother has stated that she will not eat until she is reunited with her child.
"I won't eat anything until she's safely returned. And I have faith that with all your prayers, she will be returned to me safe and sound. Jesus, I Trust in You. Please Lord, don't let them harm my baby," she cried.
Erica Gachoka is a 26-year-old University of Nottingham alumni and the founder of the Le Ngai Foundation. We are hoping for her safe return.
