Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has criticized opposition leader Raila Odinga for allegedly meddling in Kenya Kwanza administration activities.
This comes after Odinga published a list of ten demands to President William Ruto on Thursday, stressing how the head of state should reduce government spending and lower Kenyans' cost of living.
Gachagua declared in Meru County on Friday that it is not Odinga's place to give demands to the ruling administration, adding that the opposition leader should respect the outcome of the August 2023 presidential election, which saw President Ruto inhabit the house on the hill.
"Ati amepeana's requirements?" Amepeana demands kama nani? Na nani, umechaguliwa? Were you born in Kenya? "You come to Si Ungojee 2027 and persuade these people to come and give you an opportunity," the second head of state remarked.

Similarly, DP Gachagua criticized Odinga for being a major cog in the handshake government led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Gachagua claims that when Uhuru was in office, Odinga could implement reforms similar to those he offered President Ruto. Still, he decided not to do so for personal reasons.
"We ulikuwa because Uhuru Kenyatta is our advisor." But you did nothing, Ungechangia hiyo maneno unasema. You left us with a country in shambles and demolished the Jubilee agenda. You stopped housing, you stopped universal healthcare, and you took us into useless ventures like the BBI," said Gachagua.
"You had the opportunity to do what you're saying. Can you sit back and observe how governance is carried out? "We are focused, Sisi; we have a manifesto and a plan for the people of Kenya," the deputy president stated.
