On Tuesday, Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur confirmed that Ryan Sessegnon underwent surgery on his left hamstring. The young player sustained the injury during pre-season training.

"Having previously suffered with his hamstring it is anticipated that the surgery following this injury will provide a permanent solution to the problem," Tottenham said in a statement.

Due to the surgery, the left back, Ryan Sessegnon, will be unable to participate in Tottenham's forthcoming Asia-Pacific pre-season tour. The club mentioned that Tottenham will be facing West Ham United, Leicester City, and AS Roma during this tour. However, the club did not provide any specific information regarding the expected timeline for the 23-year-old's return to training.
