Likoni Member of Parliament(MP) Mishi Mboko has stated that Mombasa leaders will not allow the County will not be misled about same-sex relationships.
Speaking on Tuesday, he stated that Kenya is guided by religious traditions, customs, and beliefs that will never allow vice to infiltrate the society.
Thus, She has asked locals to forcefully maintain their vigilance and combat the issue as it expands across the nation.
Similarly, she urged parents to mentor their kids, particularly during the holiday season, to guard them against being morally debased by society.

In addition, Mboko criticised the Supreme Court's decision regarding the LGBT community's right to associational freedom.
Even though homosexuality is against the law in the nation, the Supreme Court declared in February that it was discriminatory to deny LGBTQ individuals the ability to register as an NGO.
This occurred after lower courts in Kenya had 2013 denied community members the ability to register an NGO to further their rights.
