Detectives have apprehended an individual believed to be the orchestrator of a mobile phone theft ring within the city. They have successfully recovered hundreds of stolen phones.

Jeremiah Mbugua, the proprietor of a second-hand mobile phone store located at Califonia House along Gaberone Street, was apprehended after a raid on his establishment led to the discovery of the stolen phones.



Additionally, authorities retrieved a software installation tool, external storage devices, and universal flashing device interface gadgets, commonly referred to as "ndongois."

The accused is presently in police custody, cooperating with investigators in their inquiries.
