In a strong response to Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen's remarks, Pauline Njoroge challenged the veracity of his claims regarding the current condition of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Recently, Murkomen had attributed the reported leaking roof at the prominent JKIA airport to President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration.

Pauline called on the government to clarify if there was any instance during President Uhuru's administration when the roof of JKIA was leaking or when the prestigious airport faced a blackout.

"When did we experience a blackout at JKIA during Uhuru’s tenure? When did we see leaking roofs at JKIA during Uhuru’s tenure? Or was it not raining?" Njoroge challenged, prompting a closer examination of the claims made by the former Senate Majority Leader.

Njoroge's reply surfaces amid an ongoing debate concerning the infrastructure conditions at JKIA, with raised concerns over the reported leakage and its potential repercussions on the airport's operations.
