In the Kisii and Keroka editions, the squad will continue Kisii Governor Simba Arati will host the team.

Political figures in the area have reacted to the event in various ways, with some objecting to the rally's setting and objectives.

Due to differences among the leaders, the rally was to take place on Monday.

Politicians who support President William Ruto have criticized the rally and urged Odinga to move his Azimio rallies elsewhere.

James Ongwae, a former governor of Kisii, advised Odinga will accept the election results in August and to avoid inciting unrest among the populace.

"For individuals who want to organize coordinated rallies around the nation and replicate them in Kisii. Please give your decision some serious thought. Plans and acknowledge that the time for politics is over.

"Welcome William Ruto as President and give him a chance to fulfill his full contract to Kenyans," he said.

Although the Gusii leaders who support President Ruto are opposed to the Azimio rally, Kisii ODM Chairman Kerosi Ondieki has insisted that the rally's postponement is to give Odinga lieutenants the time to organize it.

Ondieki has vowed that the gathering will take place on Friday, with Kisii Governor Simba Arati leading the preparations.

On the homecoming of Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu and former Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, it is clear that the Kisii region is currently eager to see President William Ruto.

Maangi emphasized that rather than political rallies meant to exacerbate conflict in the area, the Gusii community wanted to be included in the development.

He remarked, "Odinga should leave us alone as Omogusii to discuss our political destiny, which is currently in discussion with Dr Ruto.

The rally is taking place at Kisii days after other rallies in Nairobi.
