Rajab Babu, a former national beach football team coach, takes over as interim assistant coach at Bandari FC.

Babu, who also serves on the club's board of directors, will aid interim coach Francis Baraza, who was recently appointed following the departure of seasoned strategist Twahir Muhiddin.

According to club sources, the decision to name Babu to the technical bench was made following a series of discussions since Muhiddin's departure.

The new technical bench will be tested in a friendly encounter between Bandari and Mombasa Combine on Tuesday at Mbaraki Stadium.

The Dockers are 12th in the FKF-PL standings after six rounds of play, with seven points, and will host the ailing AFC Leopards on Sunday.

Ingwe will be led by new head coach Tomas Trucha, who was hired to replace the fired Tom Juma.
