The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has cancelled Harambee Starlets' planned friendly match against Albania in Tirana on April 11.
The Federation has cited logistical challenges for their decision after consultations with the Ministry of Sports and the Albanian Football Federation.
"FKF in consultation with the Ministry of Sports and the Albanian Federation has canceled the Harambee Starlets friendly match against Albania,” read part of the statement.
"This painful decision has been arrived at due to logistical challenges that have made it impossible to travel and arrive in Albania on or before April 11, despite concerted efforts by all concerned."

Godfrey Oduor, the Starlets' newly hired coach, brought a 33-person provisional squad to training camp.
The team was made up of both seasoned wide-based players and in-form local players. The statement said, "Thus, the team's camp has been shortened and the players have been returned to their clubs."
Following Kenya's ban by Fifa, the international football governing body, in February 2022, the Starlets have not participated in an international match for over a year.
Despite the setback, FKF vowed to look into alternative ways to ensure the Starlets play in the upcoming Fifa window.
The federation is actively interacting with other nations to locate a suitable friendly match for the Starlets in the future, and it is committed to the healthy development of football in Kenya.
