Manager Erik ten Hag stated on Friday that Manchester United's players must promote a culture of consistency at the Premier League team.

In their most recent league game, United bounced back after a disappointing 2-0 loss to Newcastle United with a 1-0 victory over Brentford, putting them three points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in fifth place with 53 points.

When questioned about the fervor his squad shown against Brentford, though, Ten Hag emphasized that it was crucial for the team to give their all in every game and not just when responding to setbacks.

Before Saturday's home game against Everton, the Dutchman continued, "That has to be the standard, you have to do it, and that's the responsibility you have to deliver when playing for Manchester United."

"You must take responsibility. It concerns requests. We must establish standards. You must constantly adhere to cultural norms.

"You have to do it constantly and consistently if you want to be a player at the top, contending for prizes. It's our responsibility to bring that mindset.

United will take on a resurgent Everton on Saturday; they have gone four league games without losing, including draws against Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Since Sean Dyche assumed leadership of the 16th-placed Merseyside club in January, they have significantly improved and have been able to escape the relegation zone as a consequence of their recent run of results.

Ten Hag lauded Dyche's contribution to the team. He declared, "He is certainly a manager doing a wonderful job.

We must match his team's physical output because they are exceptionally physically fit.

Luke Shaw, a defender for United, won't play on Saturday, but Christian Eriksen, a midfielder from Denmark, will be back in the lineup, according to Ten Hag.

Ten Hag remarked, "We have to evaluate how (Shaw's) doing for the upcoming week.

Eriksen is back in training and will be on the team, which is wonderful news.

We thought we had lost him for the entire season while he was away, yet he worked incredibly well. The medical division performed admirably. For the remainder of the season, he is now accessible. We're pleased that he is ahead of schedule.
